    Friday, October 30, 2009, 10:45 AM – 12:45 PM. PEER Center and Peer Education Training Site staff will conduct an interactive session with several exercises to help participants become acquainted with the toolkit and learn how to use it to develop a training curriculum.

  • "Transitions- Living and Working with HIV. Addressing The Needs Of HIV+ Women Working As Peers"

    Friday October 30, 2009, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. (Session 3, in Franciscan A, Ballroom Level, Hilton San Francisco) This workshop will be conducted by staff from the Lotus Project, a collaboration between The Center for Health Training (CHT) and Women Organized to Respond to Life Threatening Disease (WORLD) .

People living with HIV/AIDS, HIV service providers, vocational rehabilitation counselors, workforce development specialists, educators, researchers, advocates and others interested in learning more about these issues and resources are invited to attend this pre-conference institute co-presented by the National Working Positive Coalition and Positive Resource Center.
