Managing Client Care and Treatment In this four-minute video, Leo, a client, and Jerry, a peer at Kansas City Free Health Clinic describe how they have worked together to identify strategies to help Leo communicate more effectively with his doctor, manage his HIV treatment, and more. This is the story of how one peer educator supports one client’s efforts to manage his HIV self-care. It does not represent all peers and clients, nor does it portray all the ways peers help clients cope with the daily stresses of living with HIV.
