Work Schedule: Part time, 20-35 hours/week

Peer responsibilities:

  • Conduct new patient orientation
  • Provide one-on-one emotional and practical support to people living with HIV
  • Facilitate support groups
  • Stay abreast of treatment trends, provide non-directive information to clients
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Help train new peer advocates

Success measures: Reduction in missed appointments, timely completion of laboratory tests, patient satisfaction surveys
