Who We Are
The State-at-a-Glance Chartbook is published by the Catalyst Center: Improving Financing of Care for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs.
The Catalyst Center is a national center funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration, and is located at the Boston University School of Public Health.
It provides support to the efforts of stakeholders at the federal, state and local levels in assuring adequate health insurance coverage and financing to meet the diverse needs of children and youth with special health care needs and their families.
Its ultimate goals are to:
- Expand health insurance coverage of CYSHCN across the country;
- Close the gaps faced by underinsured families,
- Develop and disseminate innovative financing strategies at the community, state and national levels; and
- Enhance knowledge and collaboration around financing issues.
