NHRA’s Minority and Multicultural Health Conference

The National Rural Health Association will be holding the Minority and Multicultural Health Conference on December 10-12, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM.

 

The goals and objectives of the conference are:

• To provide a forum to examine issues related to connecting the need for partnerships between economic development and rural health among minority and multi-cultural populations;

• To identify the environmental and developmental challenges faced by health care agencies seeking to serve rural minority & multicultural populations;

• To identify the barriers and/or challenges to linking economic development and health care to rural minority & multicultural populations;

• To identify best practices & methodologies toward forging partnerships among economic development and rural minority and multicultural populations.
