States are developing strategies to fund new services for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) that are not typically covered by health insurance, including:

Care coordination;
Integrated care for children with specific diagnoses;
Access to day care and camps;
Catastrophic relief funds or trust funds that cover a wide range of non-reimbursable, health-related expenses.
